Keyword Frequency : Keyword Frequency means how frequently a keyword is used in web page. We can say higher the frequency higher will be the chances for good search engine ranking. But excessiveness may result in converting it into spam. So it should be used very carefully and with calculation. Better to consider keyword density with keyword frequency.


Keyword Prominence : Keyword Prominence means how prominent a keyword is within a web page. OR we can say how close it to the starting of the page. More the keyword used in starting of the page more it will valued and hence more it prominent. For this generally we use targeted keywords in TITLE and other META Tags. Keyword prominence plays an important role in Search Engine Optimization ( SEO )
